Job description
As our Director of Content, you will lead building the Pure Body Naturals brand through content strategy, production, distribution and engagement. This includes supporting brand health and consumer engagement through our email programs and social media channels, as well as earned media opportunity through PR and influencers.
  • Lead the creation and implementation of comprehensive brand and content strategies across critical digital platforms including web, mobile, email, blog and social media.
  • Define the unique and/or complementary role of content across all channels and platforms, and prioritize.
  • Define the opportunity space for specific brand marketing and product initiatives; articulate a strategic content framework and holistic content calendar ensuring alignment of our most strategic marketing messages.
  • Work collaboratively and creatively across multiple team disciplines (sales, technology, etc.) to maximize holistic brand opportunities and innovative solutions.
  • Design, develop and execute an influencer marketing strategy that maximizes Pure Body Naturals brand reach and perception through recognized online leaders.
  • Own and manage content publishing and distribution strategically for the brand, and maximize impact based on collaboration with team members and data-driven audience and platform learning.
  • Own all relevant KPIs for content and channel marketing including audience growth, engagement and direct tie to business results.
  • Own future vision for content marketing, including new forms of content as well as new channels and platforms to explore.
  • Research and evaluate current and potential vendors and partners, and determine best fit for brand needs.
  • As one of the foremost team members with eyes/ears to the consumer, regularly deliver consumer insights, trends, and brand opportunities gathered from monitoring.
  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in inbound and outbound marketing activities and publishing.
  • 3-5 years experience within beauty care and/or natural/organic product industries is a plus.
  • Ability to think strategically and develop a vision and strategy.
  • Proven skills within various social media platforms, with priorities being Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to develop compelling content and think creatively, both in isolation as well as with potential design and editorial partners.
  • Ability to detect consumer and marketplace trends, and communicate insights to broader brand team.
