This position offers a unique opportunity to develop and build strong functional skills in online merchandising / marketing, Supply Chain planning and forecasting, and business analysis. In this role you will develop and execute online sales and marketing strategies that create a best-in-class customer experience, increase engagement and sales, and measure success through data and analytics.  Additionally, you will drive breakthrough performance in an outsourced Supply Chain involving multiple Private Label manufacturers, material suppliers and Third Party Logistics (3PL) providers.

Responsibilities:

Merchandising/ Marketing:

  • Create best-in-class Amazon catalog pages with a focus on SEO (titles, bullet points, product description, hidden keywords)
  • Build enhanced Amazon content pages (A+ / EBC content) that showcase competitive differentiation and cross-promotion
  • Coordinate launch plans on Amazon.com for new products (including seasonal product assortments)
  • Help execute & manage marketing promotions, online coupons, lightning deals, promo codes, etc
  • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns 

Reporting:

  • Manage promotional budgets
  • Analyze and report on customer behavior insights 
  • Analyze sales and key metrics to identify business opportunities
  • Conduct competitive analysis studies on competitors, including ongoing digital footprint analysis 

Supply Chain:

  • Complete Supply Chain and Logistics work to plan and execute production, warehousing and transportation 
  • Liaise with external partners and other operational departments to resolve product or supply-chain queries swiftly and accurately
  • Assist with inventory availability and inventory health including: improved in-stock rates, inventory planning and demand planning/forecasting


Skills Required:          

  • BA required in Marketing, English, Operations, or related field
  • 3+ years experience in at least some of the following areas (willing to train in areas to fill gaps):
  • eCommerce channels, especially Amazon.com (Have a basic understanding of Amazon retail fundamentals to understand the Amazon flywheel and how promotions fuels growth on Amazon)
  • Cross-functional roles with internal teams (supply chain, marketing, sales and external partners such as contract manufacturers, 3PL’s, material suppliers, etc.)
  • Marketing (online advertising experience a plus)
  • Working knowledge of analytics tools (Google Analytics) 
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel formulas and functions including VLOOKUP and conditional format formulas   
  • Demonstrated experience as an effective team member with strong communications skills, reliability/integrity/maturity, and ability to self-start
  • Must be comfortable with the learning curve/constant change that comes with operating in a fast-moving, ever-changing world of eCommerce


Travel
Travel may be required to one or more key trade shows each year if requested by management
Other travel may occasionally be requested as needed for client meetings, supplier visits, team building off-sites, etc.
